Experienced Carpenter/Multi Skilled Tradesperson required for the stunning Lulworth Estate
The Lulworth Estate is a prestigious privately-owned estate in the heart of Dorset, comprising residential and commercial properties, retail outlets, a holiday park, a large farm, Lulworth Castle, the iconic Durdle Door, and a magnificent stretch of the Jurassic Coast. Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Tradesperson to join our highly skilled Buildings and Maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including full property refurbishments and maintenance across both residential and commercial properties, with the potential to also assist in other building tasks as required.
You will be working in a dynamic and diverse environment, and the role requires a high level of independence and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and be adaptable to different tasks and environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* All aspects of internal carpentry including first and second fix.
* On site window repairs including removing and fitting new windows.
* All aspects of roofing (desirable, not essential).
* Ability and knowledge in other trades that maybe required from time to time.
* Operate and maintain all necessary power tools, hand tools, and machinery to a high standard.
* Identify, report, and address any defects or issues with Estate properties discovered during the course of your work.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulations.
Required Skills & Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* A recognised qualification, such as City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent.
* Comprehensive knowledge of current Health and Safety regulations.
* Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* A full UK driving licence and reliable transportation to commute to the estate.
