At Nuffield Health, we are looking for someone to join our Radiology department at our Edinburgh Hospital. Previous clinical or diagnostic experience would be beneficial. You'll have a caring nature and the ability to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy. Helping us to deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
As a Radiology Assistant, you will:
* Assist the consultant radiologists by laying out equipment required for interventional procedures.
* Assist with clinical lists in Xray, CT and MRI.
* Be responsible for stock maintenance and re-ordering as required.
* Speak with patients from their arrival into the department, throughout their procedure and advise them on post-procedure care and results gathering.
* You will chaperone patients for all examinations and be the patient advocate during their time with us.
* Be flexible enough to take on administrative tasks within the department as they are required.
