Job Summary
We are a new company working in the fields of steel erecting and cladding and we are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist skilled tradespeople in various construction tasks including but not limited to steel erecting and cladding.
* Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment on site.
* Prepare job sites by cleaning and clearing debris.
* Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
* Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area throughout the project.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks.
* Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is advantageous.
* A valid CSCS card is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided.
