Overview
Linde Material Handling is a leading manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, operating in over 100 countries with around 13,000 employees. A global service network ensures spare parts delivery within 24 hours. We are seeking a Team Leader for the North Scotland area (AB to IV postcode area) to help shape your career direction within our organization.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of engineers (approximately 10–20, location dependent).
* Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
* Undertake preventative maintenance across a range of equipment from small pallet trucks to IC, VNA and automated trucks.
What we are looking for
* Experience in at least one of the following areas: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics.
* Ideally NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, though not essential.
* IT literate with the ability to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Strong personal attributes: good man-management, clear communication, customer-facing confidence, numeracy and literacy, energetic, proactive team player.
* Qualified maintenance engineer (NVQ level 3 or equivalent) or relevant industry experience.
* Good knowledge of company IT systems and ability to provide first-level IT support.
* Ability to demonstrate conflict management and thorough examination qualifications if applicable.

Notes
We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience in forklift technology, plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or related roles.
