A distinguished Independent School in Norfolk is seeking a thoughtful, skilled, and imaginative Art Teacher to join their thriving Visual Arts department for an immediate start . This is a role for a teacher who understands Art as both a technical discipline and a means of personal and cultural expression, and who values working in an environment where creativity is genuinely respected. About the Role You will teach Art from KS3 through to KS5 , supporting students in: Drawing fundamentals and observational accuracy Mixed media, printmaking, illustration, and sculpture Developing conceptual frameworks for personal project work Producing well-curated GCSE and A-Level portfolios The department runs: Regular exhibitions Open studio evenings Workshops with visiting practitioners Portfolio guidance sessions for students applying to Art Foundation, Fine Art, Architecture, Fashion, and Graphic Design programmes This is a department where teachers are encouraged to teach with depth , not rush for quick outcomes.
