We are looking for a reliable, organised and approachable School Secretary to join our friendly school team on a part-time basis. This important role involves providing administrative support to the Headteacher and acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies. This role is for Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 1.00pm, term time only. Your responsibilities will include managing calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, and producing school documents. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate pupil records, assisting with school admissions and attendance, organising trips and transport, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the school office. A confident and calm presence is essential, along with the ability to prioritise tasks and handle confidential information sensitively. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills (including Word and Excel), excellent communication abilities, and a methodical approach to their work. Experience in a school environment and knowledge of Arbor is highly desirable.
