I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Whitley, who are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join their team.
Job Description
As Facilities Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:
* Diagnose equipment issues, own the issue and use available resources to resolve
* Interpretation of data and communication to customers
* Data driven diagnosis and rectification of issues
* Perform TPM (preventative maintenance) of facilities equipment
* Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines
* Work shifts as required, to meet business needs
Experience Required:
* Level 4 qualification in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Ability to plan, co-ordinate and control own workflow and achieve quality results
* Fault finding and resolution, problem analysis and root-cause identification
* Experience of electrical/mechanical systems
* Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
* Computer literate, including Microsoft Office competency
