About the Role:
You will work with groups of up to 8 students, supporting them to achieve a range of qualifications within the Hospitality and Catering sector. Courses delivered include:
WJEC GCSE Technical Award
Gateway Vocational Award/Certificate
You will play a vital role in helping students either transition back into mainstream education or complete their KS4 qualifications.
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will act as a key tutor, building strong relationships with students and their families to support:
Positive engagement and behaviour
High levels of attendance
Social and emotional development
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS preferred) with a background in Food Technology or a related subject
Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in an alternative provision setting (desirable)
A proactive and nurturing approach to teaching and behaviour management
Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable learners
