As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join our Corporate Sales Team. This role is pivotal in acquiring new business and re-engaging lapsed clients through a consultative, solutions-focused approach.
Role Overview
The Account Manager will be responsible for:
Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities, including reactivating dormant accounts.
Utilizing a consultative sales approach to position our services effectively to prospects and customers.
Achieving and exceeding defined sales targets and KPIs.
Developing and managing customer relationships to deliver a high level of service and grow account value.
Conducting regular face-to-face client meetings to strengthen partnerships.
Understanding and communicating our value proposition within the context of market needs.
Interpreting and aligning to client business objectives and future plans.
Producing accurate quotes and proposals in line with pricing and discount structures.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records and other internal systems.
Communicating effectively with internal teams via professional documentation and systems.
Participating in ongoing training, applying learning to continually improve performance.
Adhering to company policies, processes, and compliance standards. Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales/account management experience.
Excellent communication skills across email, phone, and in-person meetings.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and workload effectively.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
Resilient, with the ability to handle sales rejection empathetically.
Customer-focused and solutions-oriented approach.
GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English. Desirable Attributes
5+ years of relevant sales experience in a similar sector.
Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
Experience in solution-based selling, not product-based.
Strong CRM and sales software proficiency. Benefits
