The Role

To provide an effective, efficient, and comprehensive service to the Senior Manager, incorporating a range of secretarial and administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Requirements

* Self-motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Qualifications (HNC/SVQ in secretarial studies) and relevant secretarial experience or equivalent.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accurate keyboard skills.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to liaise with staff at all levels and work under pressure.

Note: A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence is required for relevant roles.


Desirable Skills

* Experience with NHS appointment systems.
* Proficiency in audio typing and database systems.
* Knowledge of confidentiality and data protection.
* Excellent telephone manners.
* Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA licence.


Contract Details

Fixed Term for 8 months, Part Time (32 hours), pro-rata salary.

Applicants must have written approval from their line manager for secondment if applicable.


Location and Working Pattern

Based at Udston Hospital within the Admin team. Similar vacancies may be considered in alternative locations.
