Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Manchester, M27 Duration: Full-Time, Long-Term (Monday to Friday) Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm Pay: £95-£05 per day (DOE) Start Date: 24/11/2025 Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting passionate and resilient SEN teaching assistants to join an alternative provision in the Swinton area. You will be supporting pupils with SEN and SEMH. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work collaboratively with teachers and external agencies to establish trusting relationships with pupils. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a similar setting. Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building rapport Monitoring progress and implementing strategies to feedback to the class teacher Preparing learning resources for lessons to enhance learning experiencesSEN Teaching Assistant Requirements: Previous experience supporting SEN and SEMH within a similar setting Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents Team Teach Training is highly desired Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)If you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity, this could be the role for you!
