Project Manager - Manufacturing

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will lead process improvement projects across the site. Your responsibilities include designing new systems, equipment, and processes for new product introductions or existing product improvements. You will work closely with multiple departments to deliver continuous improvement projects on time and within budget. Additionally, you will analyze and report on production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, machine availability, and waste management. Supporting the transition of new tools to production by designing and implementing jigs, tooling, and frameworks is also key. You will liaise with toolmakers regarding new tools and improvements, review and calculate costs of tools and equipment, and predict future overheads. Improving manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout, along with evaluating quality control processes for enhancements, are also part of your responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
* Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering or project roles
* Proficiency with SolidWorks or AutoCAD
* Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction)
