Patient Care Tech / Infusion Center / Per DiemDelivers direct/indirect care to patients of all ages from neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult to geriatric, under the delegation/direction/supervision of a physician, registered nurse, and/or licensed practical nurse. Assists in maintaining a safe, clean environment and performs clerical/administrative functions as assigned. Demonstrates critical thinking/clinical reasoning in decision making to assure the delivery of safe, quality, timely, compassionate, and cost-effective care to the patient populations served by the department(s)/unit(s)/area(s).Effectively communicates and collaborates both intra- and interdepartmentally with patients, families, physicians, administration and other healthcare team members. Documents accurately and in a timely manner. Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; and regulatory/ accrediting body requirements.
Job Duties:
* Provides/assists with and accurately documents patient monitoring.
* Scheduling outpatient procedures
* Prepare patient charts and scan documents into medical record
* Assist with patient check in, vitals, EKGs, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Education/Experience:
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Certification:
* Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Certification/License:
* STNA, Medical Assistant, or CNA preferred.
Preferred Experience:
* Previous neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and/or geriatric patient care experience preferred.
