Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and creative Head Chef to take charge of our kitchen and help us deliver outstanding breakfast and dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be confident in preparing a variety of English and continental breakfasts, as well as have hands-on experience with high-hydration pizza dough and cooking with a stone-baked oven. This role also requires someone who is passionate about developing new dishes, introducing fresh menu items.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently excellent.
* Prepare and cook a variety of English breakfasts, continental breakfasts, and pizzas using stone-baked ovens.
* Develop and introduce new dishes and menu items, keeping up with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
* Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen.
* Manage stock levels, place orders, and monitor food costs effectively.
* Work closely with front-of-house staff to deliver a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
* Demonstrate cooking techniques and lead by example in the kitchen.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar senior chef role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong skills in preparing English and continental breakfasts, as well as experience with stone-baked pizza making.
* Hands-on knowledge of high-hydration pizza dough techniques.
* Experience working with different cuts of meat and developing creative dishes.
* Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
* Good understanding of food safety standards and kitchen best practices.
* Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are an advantage.
* Highly organised, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Pay: £22,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
