What You’ll Do: IMG Studios is a premier production centre with state-of-the art studios, post-production and live operations facilities. It houses 4 HD broadcast television studios, 9 production galleries, 3 dubbing suites, 50 edit destinations, 3 radio studios, an award-winning 3D Graphics & Visual Effects team, and one of the largest data centres built specifically for digital media and broadcast in recent times. We are looking for a dynamic Solutions Architect to design and implement innovative technology solutions to meet business needs. PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent position based in our Stockley Park office. Average 40 hours per week – weekend work and travel expected Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To: Lead the design and implementation of IMG Studios’ broadcast technology solutions to align with our future, building on prem, cloud and hybrid models as required Evaluating our current tech stack and evolving our workflows to build solutions using all opportunities in the market Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate proposed solutions into technical specifications Develop and maintain blueprints and documentation Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable Provide technical guidance and support to commercial and business development teams for RFP’s Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the organization's technology stack Conduct technology reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, along with training and development of engineering teams to fit business needs Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders You Will Have The Following Strengths: Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role Strong background in software development and architecture Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Experience in designing and implementing scalable and secure solutions Strong understanding of networking, databases, and infrastructure Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Attention to detail and a commitment to quality Demonstrable high-level experience in Broadcast Technology Use of tact and diplomacy when dealing with contractors, staff and stakeholders Ability to act professionally at all times and easily adapt to fit in with a range of personalities at all levels Ability to take and give orders and essentially work well as a team Pro-active in anticipating technical issues and resolving them Our Vision – Power the World’s Passion for Sport.
