About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Note: We have only 16-hour contracts available.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your role will involve maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and attention to detail.
HC-One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although we will provide comprehensive training. You’ll need excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. You should be a great communicator, skilled in listening and giving instructions. Always communicate with consideration and kindness, whether with residents or colleagues.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
We’ll provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits and support for your physical and psychological well-being, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
