Job description
Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Stock Controller to join their team in Rotherham on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage stock levels using MRP/ERP systems
2. Run and analyse stock reports to support operational decisions
3. Carry out regular stock audits and cycle counts
4. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
5. Collaborate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain material availability
6. Ensure accurate input and reporting of inventory movements
7. Support continuous improvement in stock control procedures
Job Requirements:
8. Proven experience as a Stock Controller in a manufacturing or industrial setting
9. Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
10. Confident in generating, interpreting, and acting on stock and inventory reports
11. High attention to detail with excellent numerical and organisational skills
12. Willing to get hands-on with physical stock when needed
13. Clear communicator and team player with a proactive approach
