The role will suit an engineer with a good understanding of machinery design, or who has had exposure to designing for remote operations/handling, ideally gained in the nuclear industry, but those with similar experience will be considered. Robot/manipulator tooling design and development will be a key aspect of this role, as will the associated prototyping and testing of these tools.
This is a unique role, requiring a versatile engineer with the desire to help build a world‑class engineering capability within a respected supplier to the nuclear decommissioning sector.
