Position: HygieneManager – Food Production
Location: Pladis - Canal Street, South Wigston,
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Mitie have a brand new opportunity for a driven management professional to support and lead our team, ensuring the highest quality services are completed for client satisfaction in the cleaning and hygiene services.
Main Duties
1. Maintain and audit the key operational documentation, e.g. Cleaning schedules (daily and periodic), Cleaning Risk Assessments, Cleaning Instruction Cards, Training Records etc.
2. Oversee training requirements of service and supervisory staff, conduct training support to cover training and development needs.
3. To ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard.
4. To conduct compliance audits, inspections of internal hygiene standards.
5. Be flexible and willing to adapt to changes in emphasis, or aspects of, the regional business requirements.
6. Ensure operation of the contract and one-off work is in line with the company procedures and be responsible for the associated company assets and facilities
7. To manage the hygiene hours and ensure all expenditure is authorised and recorded.
What we are looking for
8. Motivated, adaptable and driven personality.
9. Experience working in a Food Manufacturing / Food Hygiene background/ FMCG.
10. Desirable Level 3 Food Safety Qualification.
11. Proven ability to manage large, high-volume staff operations.
12. Client-Facing Experience.
13. Health and Safety knowledge and experience.
14. Experience of BRC and customer audits.
15. Strong communication skills and experienced in using Microsoft Office packages.
