Job Overview
We are seeking a Workshop Manager to lead our workshop team at the Arbroath Depot, ensuring all buses are clean, safe, and reliable. The role involves managing a team of engineers and support staff, maintaining high maintenance standards, and collaborating with the Operations Department.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure all maintenance work is completed to the highest standards.
* Manage and motivate a team of engineers and support staff.
* Ensure buses are clean, safe, and reliable for daily service.
* Coordinate with Operations to meet PVR targets.
* Maintain detailed records of maintenance and inspections.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop performance.
Qualifications
* Relevant engineering qualifications and experience in a workshop supervisory role.
* Excellent diagnostic skills and knowledge of PCV operations.
* Strong leadership and staff motivational skills.
* Energy and enthusiasm to meet maintenance targets and high standards.
