Job purpose:
To assist in delivering stimulating short breaks services for children and young people with complex needs and disabilities. These services provide enjoyable experiences away from primary carers, supporting personal and social development and reducing social isolation. The ideal candidate has a confident, enthusiastic, and influential approach, enjoys working with young people, and ensures activities are safe and enjoyable.
Hours of work:
Saturdays 09:00 – 17:00 (Term time only) and Sundays 09:00 – 17:00 (Term time only). Additional hours expected during School Holidays.
Location:
Crawley, Horsham, Chailey, Reigate, Tadworth, Worcester Park, Leatherhead. Please specify your desired location in your application.
Salary / pay rate:
£12.70 per hour.
Annual leave:
Five weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years of service, up to five weeks pro-rata after six years. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March.
