One of Northern Ireland's top law firms is looking for a corporate law partner to join their prestigious top ranked team in Belfast. This is a very exciting opportunity for a senior corporate lawyer ready to step up into the role of corporate partner.
In your new partnership role, you will lead a well established and high performing corporate team with an extensive high profile client base. The team advises on a range of corporate law matters; including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, governance, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements, conducting legal due diligence for corporate transactions, representing clients in negotiations and at meetings and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
What You Need To Succeed
Qualifications:
* You will be a qualified solicitor with 7+ PQE + years experience in Corporate law with a leading regional Northern Irish firm, commercial or city firm.
* Proven track record of handling a range of corporate transactions.
* Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework in the UK.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Experience of leading on M&A transactions, joint ventures, company restructuring, reorganisations.
* Excellent business development track record.
* Team management experience is desirable.
