Clinical Trials Assistant
The closing date is 17 May 2026
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Clinical Research Assistant to join the Academy of Research and Improvement team within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full time fixed‑term maternity cover contract; however, job share and alternative part‑time arrangements will be considered.
The Academy integrates research, quality improvement, clinical effectiveness and patient and public engagement to facilitate and support evidence‑based community care across Hampshire and the IOW.
This role will focus on supporting Research Nurses and Allied Health Professionals in the delivery of NIHR portfolio research studies. The main activities involve helping to recruit participants for research studies and providing administrative support for the management of site files and computer databases. The post‑holder will be expected to work on research studies across a range of specialty areas.
