Key responsibilities
1. Manage key systems and processes for the global corporate media relations team, including media and social monitoring, production of insight reports and recommended actions to improve reach and impact.
2. Manage media responses for corporate issues and routine enquiries, ensuring accuracy, speed and alignment with legal, medical and business partners.
3. Support media planning and preparation of senior leader briefings for major announcements, corporate campaigns and crisis readiness; provide rapid response when needed.
4. Participate in proactive global media programmes to build GSK’s reputation with global, national and specialist media, including campaign planning, messaging and briefing senior spokespeople.
5. Work closely with regional and local communications teams to adapt global narratives for local markets and ensure consistent delivery.
6. Use monitoring and analytics to measure impact and refine approaches to media engagement and owned/social channels.
Basic Qualifications & Skills:

7. Some experience or strong interest in media relations, communications, public affairs or journalism.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear, accurate storytelling for media and external audiences.
9. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced communications environment, demonstrating high standards of judgement, accuracy and attention to detail.
10. Experience working with cross-functional teams and coordinating stakeholder stakeholders.
11. Flexibility to work across time zones and occasional travel.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
12. Experience in life sciences, healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
13. Experience working with global media teams across multiple regions.
14. Track record of media programmes incorporating social amplification and owned channels.
15. Experience using media monitoring and analytics tools to generate insight.
16. Familiarity with stakeholder engagement and public affairs in a corporate setting.
