What You’ll Do
This position is based in a fast-paced plant environment supporting Eaton’s global business and operations, utilizing various applications for financial accounting and reporting. The role provides financial leadership to the AAR Aftermarket team, acting as a business partner and change agent to drive improvements and help achieve overall AAR Aftermarket targets. It connects finance processes with commercial and operational strategies, offering guidance, driving actions, and providing financial insights to ensure operational decisions lead to expected results.
1. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drive accountability for results and define key performance metrics with business leaders.
2. Program Accounting: Weekly reporting of key program and business stream metrics (Orders, Sales, Margin, Spend); prepare monthly results for gross profit; review program contract performance; assist in forecast/budget and 5-year plan processes.
3. Decision Support: Provide financial insights to support operational decisions, evaluate order intake, book & ship opportunities, and monthly revenue reporting.
4. Financial Modeling: Create models to assess impact scenarios on operational performance.
5. Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs and operational metrics against targets.
6. Foster an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals and continuous improvement.
7. Ad Hoc Tasks: Support tasks as requested by the Site Finance Manager and AAR Aftermarket team.
8. Collaboration: Work with and support other finance team members within WIM and MSD organizations.
Interim State Job Requirements
* Lead the WIM finance team through Finance Transformation activities during the transition to the Operating for Growth Structure.
* Champion the finance culture change at the plant level, promoting finance as business partners.
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* Qualified ACA, CIMA, ACCA
* Minimum of two (2) years of varied accounting/finance experience; additional experience may be required for supervisory and managerial roles.
Skills
* Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail.
Soft Skills
* Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals.
* Effective organization and time management skills.
* Highly motivated, analytical, and a self-starter.
