Join to apply for the IT Supplier Assurance Lead role at Covéa Insurance. This is a hybrid position, combining remote work with time in our Halifax or Reading office. You will be part of our IT Governance Team and help create a new capability within an established team, aiming to meet future regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Lead Service Manager and leading the development and delivery of a supplier assurance program across Covea’s IT suppliers.
* Liaising with Business Stakeholders and third parties to schedule and undertake planned assurance and audit activities across Covea’s IT suppliers, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, security standards, and contractual obligations.
* Produce reports and documentation related to supplier assurance activities and communicate findings to key stakeholders and governance bodies.
* Ensure audit findings and risks identified through supplier audits are documented, escalated to appropriate forums, and tracked through to conclusion.
* Continuously review and update the supplier assurance program to stay aligned with industry and business context changes.
What will help you stand out
* Experience in IT Supplier Assurance management, ideally within the Financial Services sector or a similar regulated environment.
* Analytical skills to understand and present data and findings to a range of stakeholders.
* Strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience creating or updating supplier assurance policies, standards, and methodologies.
* Experience conducting third-party supplier audits and driving corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
* Knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks and standards (Information Security, Data Governance, GDPR, ISO27001, risk management).
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SS2/21.
