Offer description

We’re Hiring: Video Producer (Live Events) Make the extraordinary, everlasting - with us. At EC, we craft extraordinary experiences that leave a lasting impression – not just for our clients, but for our people too. We blend the big ideas of a creative agency with the meticulous execution of a production company, bringing bold, imaginative events to life. We’re collaborative, down-to-earth, and serious about delivering quality – all while finding time for lightness and fun. If you’re someone who’s curious, adaptable and excited to do meaningful work with a team that’s got your back, we’d love to hear from you. About the Role EC have an opportunity for a Video Producer to join our team. In this role, reporting into our Head of Content, you’ll support the day-to-day delivery of projects within our content team, focusing on video, motion graphics, and presentation design. We’re open to hybrid or fully remote working from anywhere in the UK. If you’ve got the skills and passion, we’d love to hear from you - wherever you’re based. Who are you? You’ve got 5 years of experience in a role related to producing video content. You have strong organisational and time management skills. You are a team player, a snappy thinker on your feet, and solution driven. You have a solid understanding of the post-production process, from initial briefing and scoping to final delivery and playout. You are skilled and knowledgeable across programmes in Adobe Suite - specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects and are comfortable leading video editors, motion designers, and animators on projects. You have a good eye for strong graphic design and are comfortable leading designers on presentation design and slide templates to be used on big screens at events. You have experience working in a fast-paced production environment and can juggle multiple tasks and projects whilst remaining calm. You possess a combination of technical and creative knowledge about filmmaking and video post-production. You are comfortable working on projects involving large-scale video for events, like projections and LED walls. You must have a track record of producing content specifically for live corporate environments. You have experience working with corporations and brands and producing branded content. Communication is your strong suit – personable, professional, and collaborative with clients, freelancers, and internal teams. Flexibility is key – you know every project is different and approach each one with an open mind and a solutions-first attitude. Bonus points if you have experience in managing multi-camera shoots. You don’t have to tick every box - we care just as much about curiosity, adaptability and a growth mindset as we do experience on paper. Day-to-day responsibilities: Management and Delivery Manage and oversee end-to-end production on projects, from initial briefings to final delivery. Work side by side with the Head of Content, and in collaboration with creative and client services to ensure the project needs are met at all times. Create timelines for content production, respecting all key milestones and deadlines. Strive to find cost efficiencies at every opportunity when owning a budget for a project, whilst respecting company budget policy and margins. Grow critical client and vendor relationships and be confident and comfortable with communicating and presenting to clients. Ideally, you will have an established production network locally within the UK, and the ability to seek out an extended production network outside of the UK when needed. Collaborate with the Studio Manager when managing the recruitment of content-related freelance staff - from sourcing to onboarding. Continually optimise project workflow to find optimum ways of working. Improve content production processes and protocols and work across the development and implementation of organisational systems and procedures. Keep Event Concept at the forefront of key production trends. New Business and Pre-Production Attend briefing sessions and ensure we have received all necessary information when receiving briefing forms. Craft Content Briefing documents for the team to kick off projects. Actively contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions. When handling a new request, advise and vet resource, reaching out to external freelancers and production partners for responses as needed, and pulling together client quotes alongside the Head of Content. Interpret briefs and create concrete, creative solutions which may occasionally include storyboarding or narrative scriptwriting. Working on identified client content projects and pitches: including generating creative ideas and solutions, planning, attending meetings, overseeing / directing shoots, across post-production and delivery of assets. Production Oversee motion design and ensure Motion Designer has a clear brief and workplan and process for working collaboratively with the Video Editor. Oversee video edits and ensure a clear brief is given to the Editor. Oversee edit producing, edit sign off, viewings and sign off with the Head of Content. Ensure that brand and legal guidelines are adhered to when producing / directing content. On occasions when we have video production or filming requirements, help lead and direct assigned shoots. Advise on kit and technical requirements for shoots. Some projects involve creating clever PowerPoint decks that can blur the line of traditional slides and interesting animation and motion – so feeling comfortable to brief in PPT Designers and managing the ‘fit and finish’ for PPT and Keynote decks is also part of the role.
