Offer description

Package Description: This is an exciting opportunity to join Stowe School as a Learning Support Assistant, working closely with a pupil who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). In this new role, you will provide support both in the classroom and during one-to-one sessions in the Skills Department. You will play a key role in helping the pupil strengthen their academic skills, and develop greater independence in their learning by making effective use of assistive technology. Working under the direction and guidance of the SENCo, Deputy SENCo, and class teachers, you will help set up and implement an individual learning programme, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to relevant staff and parents. You will join a lively and enthusiastic team of support staff, who believe passionately in supporting our pupils to enable them to fully access the high quality of education on offer. We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences: we firmly believe that diversity enriches our school. Lunch will be provided on working days. Exact term and Saturday working dates will be shared at interview, but potential applicants are welcome to contact us beforehand to clarify.
