Falls Practitioner / Physiotherapist (Band 6 Equivalent)
Location: Bromborough - Wirral
Hours: 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday with 4:30pm finish or 4 days per week.
Salary: £22 per hour + mileage expenses/ £34,320
About the Role
In this role, you will support pre-frail older adults who have experienced falls or are at risk of falling. You will deliver comprehensive assessments and evidence-based interventions aimed at promoting independence and reducing risk.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out multifactorial falls risk assessments and clinical evaluations
* Develop and implement individualised care and intervention plans
* Assess for and provide low-level equipment and mobility aids
* Prescribe strength and balance exercise programmes
* Refer patients to appropriate healthcare professionals and services
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage your own caseload
* Support the training and supervision of junior staff and students
* Participate in clinical audits and service improvement initiatives
* Provide operational support and deputise for the Team Leader when required
About You
You will be a motivated and empathetic Physiotherapist with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Essential Requirements
* Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
* HCPC Registration
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
* Experience at Band 6 level (preferred)
