Job Description
* Prepare, review and analyse monthly financial reports.
* Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with other department leaders to improve financial performance and efficiency.
* Manage budget planning and cost management for the department.
* Provide financial advice and guidance to the management team.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
* Undertake cost centre analysis as part of month end process
* Ad-hoc project work as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
* Accountancy Qualification
* Experience in a similar role within the distribution/logistics industry
* Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Superior attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with stakeholders across all levels
