We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with pupils as they transition into Key Stage 2, helping them build confidence, independence, and strong learning habits.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across the Year 3 curriculum. You will support pupils as they adjust to increased expectations, ensuring learning is accessible, challenging, and enjoyable. Maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment will be central to your role.
Assessment will be used effectively to track progress, identify next steps, and inform planning. Differentiation will ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, are supported to make strong progress. You will work closely with teaching assistants and Lower Key Stage 2 colleagues to provide consistent support.
This role is suitable for ECTs or experienced teachers who are confident in their classroom practice and passionate about Key Stage 2 teaching. The school offers a collaborative culture, supportive leadership, and access to high-quality professional development.
