Job Title
Care & Support Worker – Nights
Summary
Provide overnight care and support to residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well‑being in a supported living environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person‑centred care and support to residents throughout night shifts
* Assist with personal care needs, medication administration, and mobility
* Respond promptly to emergencies or resident requests during the night
* Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required
* Monitor residents’ well‑being and report any concerns to senior staff
* Carry out light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
* Ensure confidentiality and dignity for all residents
* Adhere to safeguarding and health & safety protocols
Required Qualifications
* Previous experience in care or support work, ideally within a residential setting
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it
* Understanding of safeguarding and care standards
* Reliable, compassionate, and patient attitude
* Right to work in the UK
* Basic IT and record‑keeping skills
