Start Date: Monday, 24th November 2025 Contract: 3 months (temporary) Hours: 9:30am 2:30pm, Monday to Friday Location: Fully office-based Are you a practical, organised individual who enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? Were looking for a friendly and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our team for a three-month temporary position, supporting the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring a safe, well-organised working environment. Key Responsibilities Reception Support Provide cover at reception when volunteers are unavailable. Coordinate the volunteer rota and assist with volunteer training. Vehicle Fleet Administration Manage vehicle bookings, mileage logs, MOTs, services, and insurance records. Organise regular cleaning and safety checks. Health & Safety Assist with monitoring and reporting activities. Maintain risk assessment records and ensure First Aid kits are regularly replenished. Stock & Supplies Process purchase requisitions and orders. Monitor and replenish stationery, uniforms, and merchandise supplies. General Administration Organise merchandise dispatches and event equipment sign-out. Prepare meeting rooms for VIP visits and arrange refreshments. Handle incoming and outgoing post, including franking and collections. Other Duties Provide ad hoc support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Occasionally lift and move boxes or stock (handling aids provided for larger items). About You Youll bring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Youll be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working independently, and supporting colleagues across a range of tasks. Experience in facilities or administrative support would be an advantage.
