SEN Teaching Assistant

Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partnered schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who need tailored, consistent, and caring support throughout their learning journey.
🔍 The Role
As an SEN TA, you will:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language)
* Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning
* Support pupils in building confidence, social skills, and emotional regulation
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
✅ Requirements
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or care setting)
* A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE, Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential
