Job Description
The Senior Facilities Assistant supports the management and operation of facilities across the organisation. You will help with the planning and coordination of maintenance, space management, and service delivery activities. The Senior Facilities Assistant reports to the Facilities Manager and other partners to guarantee a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment. You will also contribute to the implementation of health and safety standards and supports continuous improvement projects within the Facilities function.
Your Responsibilities
* You will collaborate with the Facilities Manager to help develop workplace strategies and facilities planning.
* You will help lead the Facilities team to ensure high levels of engagement and customer service,
* You will promote a positive team culture aligned with Rockwell Automation's values and support staff development and morale.
* Collaborate with company partners and local teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and foster a collaborative working environment.
* Build relationships with internal customers and contribute to service performance reviews.
* Support the operational and maintenance strategy according to organisational goals.
* Coordinate essential services such as building maintenance and participate in the selection and management of service providers and contractors.
* Work with procurement teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and support contract management activities.
* Help deliver property improvement projects and ensure execution.
* Support front-of-house operations and ensure a welcoming environment.
* Administer fleet-related tasks and act as a point of contact for service partners to ensure service delivery across sites.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards across all facilities.
The Essentials - You Will Have
* 3-5 years in a similar role.
* High-level proficiency in excel.
* Attention to detail.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
* SAP knowledge
* SharePoint experience.
