Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Stockton-on-Tees (On-site 3 days + 2 days remote)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: 36.5 hours per week (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
Contract: Permanent
OH Medical is recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health provider supporting their client in Stockton-on-Tees.
This is a varied and hands‑on role combining case management, health surveillance and wellbeing, offering the opportunity to build strong on‑site relationships while maintaining a degree of flexibility.
The Role:
* Managing a caseload of employees, providing advice on fitness for work, rehabilitation and return‑to‑work plans
* Conducting occupational health assessments and producing clear, evidence‑based reports
* Delivering health surveillance programmes (including audiometry, spirometry, vision screening and HAVS)
* Advising on workplace health risks and supporting risk assessments including DSE
* Supporting health promotion and wellbeing initiatives
* Liaising with HR, Health & Safety and external healthcare providers
* Monitoring trends in health data and contributing to proactive interventions
* Supporting compliance with occupational health legislation and best practice
About You:
* Registered Nurse with an Occupational Health qualification (Diploma or Degree)
* NMC registered (Part 1 or 3)
* Experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor delivering case management and health surveillance
* Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* Confident using occupational health systems and IT platforms
* Ability to work independently across multiple sites
