QA QC EngineerLocation York | Site BasedEmployment Type ContractRate £300 to £400 per day depending on experienceOverviewWe are seeking a QA QC Engineer to support quality assurance and control across utility scale solar PV projects based in York.This role will be working under a QA QC Manager, supporting the delivery of large scale EPC projects. You will play a key role in ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications, standards, and compliance requirements.The position is fully site based, 5 days per week with Saturday work available depending on programme requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Management System Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with QA QC standards and specifications Review and manage project documentation and inspection records Conduct site inspections and support testing activities Identify non conformities and assist with corrective and preventive actions Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and management to maintain quality standards Support reporting on quality performance to the QA QC Manager Ensure all works are delivered in line with health and safety and project proceduresEssential RequirementsExperience in a QA QC role within solar, renewable or construction projects Background working on utility scale or ground mounted solar projects preferred Strong understanding of site quality processes and documentation Ability to work within an EPC environment Strong attention to detail and communication skills Willingness to be site based full time in YorkDesirable QualificationsElectrical or engineering background Previous experience working under a QA QC Manager Knowledge of testing and commissioning processesWorking Pattern and Benefits£300 to £400 per day depending on experience Site based 5 days per week in York Saturday work available Long term contract potential Opportunity to work on large scale renewable energy projectsTPBN1_UKTJ
