Support Worker
Full UK Driving Licence essential
Plymouth area – £12.80 – £19.20 per hour – Weekly Pay / Free DBS / Holiday Pay
Are you an experienced Support Worker with knowledge around acquired brain injuries?
A very rare vacancy has become available within one of our care packages supporting an individual within his own home. We provide companionship, and support with some daily tasks such as preparing meals and prompting medication, we also provide social inclusion whereby we take this individual out and about.
We have set shifts available on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening 1700 – 2000
This role will also include being a back up member of the team covering any holidays etc and the opportunity will also be available to cover more people we support too.

Your role will include:
1. Supporting with personal care tasks
2. Prompting and administering medication
3. Preparing & Encouraging Fluids & Nutrition
4. Assisting with activities of daily living & social outings
5. Companionship & Emotional Support
6. Light Domestic Duties & Shopping Trips
7. Maintaining and updating care records
We’re looking for:
8. Paid previous experience as a Professional Carer
9. Flexible availability to include every-other weekend is essential
10. Excellent communication skills
11. A full UK driver’s licence & Business Insurance
