Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Middleware DBA to support and maintain a critical Oracle-based application environment. This role combines traditional database administration with hands-on management of Oracle Fusion Middleware components.
You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, stability, and security of both the database and Middleware stack, supporting business-critical applications built on Oracle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and support Oracle Database 19c environments (installation, patching, backup, recovery, performance tuning)
* Manage and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server domains and deployments
* Support Oracle Fusion Middleware including Forms, Reports, and Single Sign-On (SSO)
* Configure and maintain Oracle REST Data Services environments
* Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues across database and Middleware layers
* Perform upgrades, patching, and environment migrations
* Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to support application delivery
* Ensure security best practices and compliance are maintained
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong experience with Oracle Database administration (preferably 19c)
* Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration
* Proven experience supporting Oracle Forms & Reports environments
* Experience with ORDS configuration and support
* Familiarity with SSO and authentication integrations
* Solid troubleshooting skills across database and Middleware tiers
* Experience with Linux/Unix environments
* Strong understanding of backup/recovery and performance tuning
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Oracle APEX (if applicable)
* Knowledge of Scripting (Shell, Python)
* Experience with cloud environments (OCI, AWS, Azure)
* Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools
