A bit about us
We are a close-knit team of 50+ colleagues, including Veterinary Surgeons, Registered Veterinary Nurses, Practice Managers, and Client Care Advisors, across three busy Ayrshire practices. We pride ourselves on treating each other like family. While our days can be busy and challenging, we always make time to support one another. We love building strong relationships, having fun, and making memories—whether that’s a night out or a day of team-building. If you’re joining us, we hope you’re just as outgoing and fun-loving as we are!
Who We Are Looking For
Are you the friendly, energetic, pet-loving superstar who can make tails wag and clients smile? We’re on the hunt for someone who can bring exceptional service to our clients and the very best care to their pets, acting as the all-important link between our clients and the clinical team.
Your mission? Make every client’s visit unforgettable. From greeting them with a warm smile to guiding them through payments and future bookings, you’ll be the reason they leave happy and excited to come back.
This isn’t just any reception role—it is fast-paced, working across all three of our Ayrshire branches which will bring full variety. You’ll need to adapt to any task given, work seamlessly with different teams, and handle anything the day throws at you—all with a positive, bubbly personality.
We’re looking for someone with a little extra sparkle—that special someone who can take ownership of this role and make it their own.
What you’ll Do:
1. Be the friendly, welcoming face for clients and their pets when they arrive.
2. Stay in the know on all practice services and be ready to guide clients with confidence.
3. Keep calm under pressure, always putting clients’ needs first.
4. Bring enthusiasm, energy, and a love of pets to everything you do.
5. Support your colleagues, clients & patients and make them feel cared for and at ease.
6. Spread positivity and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere alongside your colleagues.
7. Be adaptable, thriving in any team and at any of our sites.
If you’re ready to bring your passion, personality, and a smile that can brighten anyone’s day, we want to meet you!
In short, you love staying busy, enjoy helping people and their pets, and always strive to make a difference.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as you’ll be travelling between our three practices in Ayr, Irvine, and Kilmarnock.
