They are looking to appoint a motivated 3D CAD Draughtsman with 3–5 years’ experience in engineering design and 3D CAD modelling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop hands-on design skills while working on technically interesting projects that deliver real environmental benefit. You’ll be supported through mentoring, training and structured career progression within a collaborative technical team. Key Responsibilities Producing high-quality 3D engineering models and drawings Supporting the design and detailing of civil and environmental engineering structures Working with Solid Edge, Revit 3D and/or Rhino 3D software Assisting with the preparation of technical drawings and design documentation Ensuring designs comply with engineering standards and best practice Collaborating closely with engineers, designers and environmental specialists Contributing to the delivery of sustainable, buildable engineering solutions The Ideal Candidate Essential: Must be eligible to live and work in the UK without sponsorship Be based in South Devon A qualification in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline (Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent) 3–5 years’ experience using Solid Edge, Revit 3D and/or Rhino 3D Good IT skills and willingness to learn new tools and workflows Strong attention to detail and ability to work to technical standards Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Experience supporting civil, structural or mechanical engineering projects What’s On Offer Competitive salary, dependent on experience Clear progression path toward Senior Engineering Technician / Senior Design Engineer roles Structured mentoring, training and professional development Company pension and annual bonus Supportive, values-led working environment Excellent work-life balance Lovely offices in South Devon Interested?
