We at Zero2Five are proud to be working for a well‑established and unique childcare setting based in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire who are looking to employ a dedicated Room Leader to join their valued and experienced team in providing high‑quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and ensuring their well‑being and development.
Requirements
* Minimum Level 3 Early Years (UK equivalent) qualification
* Minimum 1 year nursery experience
* Experience in working with children aged 2–5
* Excellent communication skills
* Thorough understanding of the EYFS and all statutory requirements
* Good standards of hygiene and safety appropriate for young children
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise children in a nursery setting
* Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding and supporting nursery staff
* Drive the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
* Be passionate about providing a safe and stimulating environment for children
* Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
* Utilise experience in childcare to create engaging and educational activities
* Demonstrate a caring and nurturing approach towards children
* Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children
