Job Description: Team Leader
Salary: £13.01 per hour (£14,883.44 per annum)
Working Hours: 22 hours per week - 18 hours + 4 hours admin
Service: Affinity Supporting People South Limited, based in Middleton, Manchester

The Team Leader Role
As a Team Leader, you will promote and ensure the implementation of the company’s vision of person-centred support while maintaining individuals’ potential and independence. You will be the front-line manager, ensuring all back-office duties are completed within compliance. Respect, cooperation, and dignity are essential to enable those we support to live in their own homes or communities confidently.
Responsibilities include:
1. Overall staff management and development.
2. Leading staff to promote clients’ well-being, safety, and quality of life.
3. Monitoring and assisting with activities that meet client goals and measure progress.
4. Coordinating communication with external parties effectively.
5. Ensuring compliance with company policies, legislation, and standards.
6. Meeting individual annual objectives.
7. Participating in on-call duties.
Key Qualities
The most important qualities are respect, listening, understanding emotions, kindness, friendliness, and honesty.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
* Minimum Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
* Ability to motivate and manage a team.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
