Balmoral Tanks Ltd is a leading European engineering design and manufacturing company. As a result of significant investment in people and plant, the company produces what is believed to be the most comprehensive range of tank products available for a single source in the EU.
As a member of the contracts team your main primary focus is to work closely with each manager supporting the contracts team in all aspects of the delivery of each contract, from inter departmental liaison to any external clients. The other duties will include checking all timesheets against the tracker reports and processing contract specific paperwork 'but not limited to' as to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the Contracts teams' continuous growth.
Main Duties And Responsibilities Of The Jobholder.
Participate in project handover reviews and customer kick‑off meetings.
Manage post‑handover introductions and maintain project schedules using MS Project and Quest.
Coordinate design submissions and ensure timely issue of GA drawings and calculations.
Attend customer technical calls and project review meetings alongside the Project Manager.
Input and manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
Liaise with design teams for updates and resolution of technical queries.
Maintain project documentation and notes within Quest, including stage gates and revisions.
Create and issue manufacturing progress reports.
Follow up with design, production, purchasing, and despatch teams.
Process invoice requests and update project cost sheets.
Raise and issue purchase and stores requisitions.
Organise Technical Advisor (TA) resources and host customer visits.
Manage project variations and update Quest and finance systems.
Compile and issue documentation packs (QITP, CoC, etc.).
Handle warranty certification and control client‑specific documentation.
Request and issue CP calculations and FM approvals.
Support dispute resolution and issue tank installation information.
Prepare and ship installation packs.
Prepare contractual agreements (e.g., Jack Hire, Technical Advisor).
Oversee supplier management including design approvals and delivery.
Chase outstanding debtor payments.
Host customer and third‑party inspections.
Perform additional tasks as necessary to support project delivery.
