We are looking for a care assistant to join our Team at Willow View Care Home. The successful candidate will be kind, caring and enthusiatic preferably with experiance in care homes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Escort clients to appointments or social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behaviour to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:
- NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
