Are you a qualified Clinical Psychologist with at least four years of post-doctoral experience in neuropsychiatry, neuropsychology, and/or services for older people? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic clinical team.
About the Role: This position involves working with individuals who have organic conditions such as dementia, Huntington’s disease, alcohol-related brain damage, and acquired brain injury. The patients often present with behavioural and psychological symptoms, including challenging behaviours. The team is committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and is looking for an experienced, innovative, and values-driven individual to join them.
Role and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the existing service lead to deliver and develop psychological services.
Be part of a comprehensive multidisciplinary team including Senior Nurses, Medics, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, and Dietitians.
Provide clinical leadership, support, training, and consultancy to staff teams.
Supervise trainee clinical psychologists and contribute to service development.
