About the Role
As an Architectural Assistant, you will be involved in all stages of high-end residential and commercial projects, from concept through to completion. This includes design development, technical detailing, client presentations, and site work, working closely with senior architects and designers. Based at our Sloane Street studio in London, the role is varied, fast-paced, and offers exposure to both UK and international projects, with occasional travel.

You are an inquisitive, creative, and practical designer with strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach. Highly organised and self-motivated, you're confident working both independently and within a collaborative team, building positive relationships with consultants and clients alike. Adaptable and eager to learn, you're ready to hit the ground running on complex, high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development of technical design packages from concept through to construction stages
* Produce detailed architectural drawings, including construction details, joinery, and bespoke components
* Coordinate and produce BIM models using Vectorworks BIM and/or Revit in accordance with project standards
* Collaborate closely with senior architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design and technical compliance
* Prepare planning and building regulation submissions
* Conduct site visits and support construction-phase activities, including responding to RFIs and updating design documents as required
* Create high-quality 3D models and visualisations to support design presentations
* Manage and organise project documentation in line with office and project standards
* Participate in internal project reviews and contribute to technical problem-solving
* Exposure to international projects is advantageous, particularly where adaptation to local codes and construction methods are required
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology (RIBA Part I required; Part II preferred)
* Strong technical design skills with a solid understanding of construction methods and materials
* Advanced proficiency in Vectorworks BIM and/or Revit, including worksharing, family creation, and clash detection workflows
* Excellent 3D modelling skills in tools such as SketchUp, or similar
* High level of detail in producing construction and joinery details, particularly for bespoke interiors or fit-out elements
* Comprehensive understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
* Strong communication and coordination skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage time effectively across multiple tasks and deadlines
* Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and working in a design office environment
* Experience with rendering tools such as Enscape or Cinema4D is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud is required
