Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Salary: £12.95 per hour Hours: Flexible hours available – minimum 15 hours per week (part-time or full-time opportunities) Shifts: Morning shifts, Evening shifts, Weekend shifts, Limited long day shifts, Limited night shifts available Location: Radstock; Chippenham; Bristol About the role Join a compassionate and growing care team delivering high-quality domiciliary care within the community across Radstock, Chippenham, and Bristol. In this rewarding role, you will support individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. You will travel between clients within your local postcode area, providing person-centred support to people with a range of care needs. You will be assigned to one area and will not be expected to travel between towns. As a Community Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to individuals living in their own homes, assisting them with daily tasks while promoting wellbeing and independence. The individuals you support may include: Older adults, Individuals living with dementia, People with physical disabilities, Individuals requiring general care and daily support Key Responsibilities * Provide personal care and support with daily living activities * Assist with medication administration where required * Support individuals with mobility, meals, and household tasks * Encourage and promote independence and well-being * Provide companionship and emotional support * Maintain accurate care records and communication notes * Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals * Travel between clients within your local postcode area About You * Access to your own vehicle and the ability to travel between clients * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Compassionate, patient, and caring attitude * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) * Previous care experience is preferred * Experience in domiciliary or residential care settings is welcomed * Candidates with transferable experience will also be considered * NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care preferred but not essential * Students are welcome to apply if they can meet the working requirements of the role * We are looking for compassionate individuals who are passionate about helping others and making a positive difference in their community.
