We are currently working with Coventry City Council Children Services, as they are looking to increase their team of Senior Social Workers within their Help and Protection team.
Your new role
As a Senior Qualified Social Worker within a fast-paced team, you will undertake casework and assessments and will be required to support the team in responding to referrals relating to children within the Coventry area. As a Senior Qualified Social Worker, you will work with colleagues and managers across Coventry to share and promote good practice. You will need to be happy and be able to travel across Coventry independently on scheduled visits, have excellent communication skills, and feel comfortable picking up new and existing cases.
What you'll need to succeed
All applicants must have previous experience working in a Childrens Services role for a minimum of 2 years, hold a Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, CQSW or Equivalent. Have an Enhanced Barring Adults DBS in process, and candidates must be SWE registered with Social Work England.
