Role Description
Allianz has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our team working on a hybrid basis out of our Ditton Park office. You will be part of the Allianz Specialty Team, focusing on Pet Insurance.
As a Business Analyst, you’ll play an important role in organizational change by applying specialized business analysis, change management skills, and disciplined approaches. This involves repeated deliveries and/or a specialized area of knowledge.
You will work across many functional domains, engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
Key Accountabilities
1. Collaborate with stakeholders up to Executive and Board level to define business visions and develop strategies through strategic analyses, feasibility studies, and business cases.
2. Initiate medium to large-scale change initiatives.
3. Conduct business analysis in a complex change environment involving information, technology, people, process, and organizational change.
4. Quickly understand the business area, stakeholders, and needs across various functions.
5. Define and implement the business analysis approach, ensuring alignment with change governance and quality standards.
6. Develop and apply analysis methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
7. Support the development, testing, user acceptance testing, and implementation of solutions by working closely with solution partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
8. Learn from past experiences and participate in post-implementation reviews, lessons learned sessions, and knowledge sharing.
9. Contribute to the ongoing professional development of the role.

Technical Skills
* Expertise in defining business analysis approaches within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
* Proficiency in industry-standard modeling techniques, including data modeling and BPMN.
* Knowledge of change lifecycle concepts for planning, development, implementation, operation, and maintenance of change.
Essential Skills
* Understanding of key drivers for change.
* Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry, including products, services, and business models.
* Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
* Experience with various project methodologies and their impact on business analysis work.
* Experience in high-complexity change initiatives across multiple facets.
* Appreciation of IT systems architecture, hardware, and software in business processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and familiarity with change management and software development tools.
* Experience in planning and facilitating large, complex workshops.
